After three long seasons that started back in November 2020, the Corvette C7.R will be taking is final lap around Strakka as the official safety car of Grand Prix 1. Beginning next season for the first round of 2022b at Tokyo, The Carmona T21-R will take its place at the head of the grid and lead the pack as the FVA's new safety car. The T21-R, currently yet to be released to the public, is a road-going track day supercar with handling derived from the cars of the GT Super Series, capable of seating two occupants.
