The host of Grand Prix 1, Luke Carmona, has been riddled with real life interferences that has resulted in the second postponement of the 8th round of the 2022a GP1 championship at Snowpeach. The first postponement was the result of the Easter Weekend.
Since Snowpeach will now be taking place when the Japanese Grand Prix at LC Racing Circuit's Tokyo street circuit was to happen, the 8th round has also been rescheduled. The 9th round at Egypt will not be changed, from the 15th of May, but this now results in three straight weeks of Grand Prix 1 racing.
May 1st - The Snowpeach Grand Prix
May 8th - The Japanese Grand Prix
May 15th - The Egyptian Grand Prix
